About me and my therapy work
What I can offer you and how we can work together
My philosophy: I believe in offering a safe, therapeutic space for you to explore openly the issues you wish to bring to therapy. I believe that people are individual and are more than lived experiences. For me, therapy, and life, is about pacing: sometimes we move fast, other times we need to slow down. I will explore with you living your life at the pace which feels right for you. I will support you with warmth, compassion and acceptance.
How can counselling help me? Some people access therapy for a specific issue and others may wish to explore and make sense of how and what they are feeling, thinking and experiencing. Counselling is a process; it can help with feeling stuck and decision making, as well as patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving to create awareness of choices and self-acceptance. We start with where you are now and you may know where you would like to be or this may evolve along the way.

How many sessions will I need? This is your choice. I offer short and longer term work. We contract for our time together and regularly review to confirm this is meeting your needs. Regular sessions are usually held at the same time each week.
